He recently listened to a talk that helped him think a little bit bigger and put himself in the shoes of the interviewee. How can you make someone feel really welcomed and cared for in a company? Alex shares what some of his successful friends do to make the onboarding process a lot more personal and easy on the new guy.

- During step three of the interview process, take your applicant and his/her spouse out to dinner with you and your spouse. Get to know them on a personal level.
- Create detailed documents to help onboard your new employee and provide them with the tools they need.
- Start thinking bigger and start operating like a highly successful company. Don’t hold yourself back!
- Alex recognizes that there’s a couple of things he can do better to help make a new team member feel really welcomed and cared for.
